Dance Party!
If your child loves to dance or has a favourite movie theme song, then a dance lesson at their next birthday event sounds like a brilliant idea. We love working with other vendors to make it a party to remember. Each party request will be different but generally speaking the service includes a 45minute dance specific activity. Our dance teachers can travel to you (BOP Area) or you can hire our usual spaces – The Black Sheep Studio or The Te Puna Hall. Get in touch using our contact form to organise something that will bring the boogie to your next event. Check out a few of our suggestions below:
- Standard dance lesson in choice of style
- Themed dance lesson (i.e. movie, destination based)
- Learn a dance from a costumed character: Elsa or Other…
- A dance to the birthday kids’ favourite song
- Film a music video or “dance crew”
- Dance themed party games: Follow the leader, Copy-Cat, Musical Statues, Freeze
COSTS TO CONSIDER:

Travel fee to Hall: $20
Hire of the Te Puna Hall (depending on availability) for 3 hours: $105
Hire of a Dance Teacher for 2 hours: $160
Elsa/Frozen themed lesson (Including dress up and props): $100
Total Cost: $385.00
OR
Travel fee (BOP area): $30
Venue: Your Home/Park etc
Hire of a Dance Teacher for 1 hour: $80
Elsa/Frozen themed lesson (Including dress up and props): $100
Total Cost: $210.00
A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking and this is non-refundable.
