TIMETABLE
All combo dance classes are 60 minutes. Single style classes are 45 minutes. Location 001 classes are held at Te Puna Memorial Hall Tauranga and 002 classes are held at the Black Sheep Studio – 21 Plummers Point Road Whakamarama. Check out our full schedule here.
PRIVATE TUITION
One-on-one attention is an amazing way to give our pre-juniors confidence in a new skill or technique. It can help them get up to speed if joining part-way through the year or gearing up for their first exams. If your child loves performing, we can arrange choreography and rehearsals for onstage dance competitions. Typically, performances at this age are under 2 minutes and we like to take 45minutes to teach 30seconds. Our performance package includes 5 private sessions, edited music and practice videos. Please email admin@victoryperformancecentre.com to arrange a time or select an opening via the jackrabbit student portal.
COSTS
Victory Performance Centre encourages ongoing enrolment for consistency in learning and personal relationships, both with fellow students and teachers. With fees payable each term, becoming a student means you’ll have access to our regular newsletters and studio events. New students are invited to get started with a free trial class with no commitment to continue. Once enrolled, we request cancellation prior to your next term invoice.

TECHNIQUE AND SKILL BUILDING
Classes are taught by well-trained and experienced professionals which emphasise the foundations of dance and movement training. Our aim is to keep bodies strong and healthy, minimising risk of injury through adolescence.
MUSICALITY
Music drives our expression and movement in dance. We keep music age appropriate but also appealing.
CREATIVITY AND EXPRESSION
PreIntermediate classes provide a safe environment to allow personalities to shine. Dance and drama go hand in hand and this is promoted through opportunities to create, express and move freely.
CONFIDENCE AND FRIENDSHIP
Having different groups of friends is so important as kids enter this age group. We try to create an uplifting community for them to come back to outside of schooling.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We are very lucky at our location to have a waiting area that looks onto the dance floor. We ask that you please remain in the waiting area for the duration of the class. Remember to have this chat with your preschooler before attending your first class.
Bring along some water and maybe a doll, action figure or teddy, just in case your little one needs an extra friend to watch or dance with.
Your little one might like to dress up in a princess or superhero costume. This is the age where we start to encourage dance footwear so they can build foundational skills, such as stance, hip disassociation, foot articulation and floor pressure.
There are two annual, formal performances throughout our dancing year, a mid-year and end of year performance. The end of year performance even sports a costume to boot! If your child loves dancing at home and often creates their own dances and performances, the annual choreography competition is also open to this age group.
Once you click on the Enquire Now button, you will be redirected to an application form where you can register your interest about our Dance programs. Once submitted, we will be in touch to finalise your free trial class and enrolment.
Enrolment will automatically renew each term. We request written notice of cancellation prior to the distribution of the term invoice. Amounts owing will be displayed in your jackrabbit portal.
If you move away from the area and our studio can no longer reasonably be accessed by you, you will need to give written notice of cancellation prior to the distribution of the monthly invoice. We will prorate the month tuition for any missed classes.
Unfortunately monthly fees are non-refundable in the case of injury. We welcome injured students to watch class so they can continue to learn. We offer make-up classes so please get in touch with your teacher for class openings.
We have a no-hassle cancellation policy. Simply email admin@victoryperforamancecentre.com with notice of cancellation, including the date of final class. No further payments will be taken.
Please allow 14 days for your cancellation to be processed. Please ensure this is done prior to the distribution of the monthly invoice.
You will always be guaranteed a place in class as we have a set capacity.
Class fees cover the cost of studio, teachers wage and regular classes. We may request extra payments to cover the cost of exams, private tuition, competitions or performances, and costumes.
