Halfway through 2021? No way!
It is about time we put on a little performance! A time has been confirmed. Thank you to everyone who submitted their suggestions. If you are no longer able to attend please email me at admin@victoryperformancecentre.com.
The mid-year performance is very special because it is our first offical show at the Te Puna Hall. It aims to:
- Get the kids up on stage to build their bravery and confidence in performing in front of a crowd
- Show off everything they have learnt so far
- Get everyone in our little VPC community together!
I don’t need any other reasons but really this is all just in preparation for the extravaganza at the end of the year. Think lights, cameras and COSTUMES.
The event has gone live, which means you can share it with your friends and family.

With a performance creeping up, your attendance is crucial for a successful show. You can practice your class dances via our private facebook group (add yourself via the link below).

NEW CLASS
Every Wednesday at 4:15pm starting (THIS WEEK) on the 16th of June there will be a Pre-Junior Ballet Class for ages 5-6 years. If you are interested in attending this class checkout the info below!
MAKE UP CLASSES
Preschool Make-up classes:
Saturday 17th July 9:30-10:15am
Saturday 31st July 9:30-10:15am
PreJunior Jazz Make-up classes:
From Wednesday 16th June (weekly) 4:15pm-5:00pm Ballet
— Trust me, you can Dance —
Too often, fear and judgement get in the way of us pursuing new interests, hobbies and goals. We encourage the younger generation to just “give it a try” so I hope that you practice what you preach. I bought a second hand bike last week and I intend to ride it to and from work. The thing is, I haven’t rode a bike in YEARS. It is scary, because I seem to aim for stationary objects but it is also exciting for what new experiences it might bring. Fingers crossed I don’t fall off.
So my point is… why not join the dance class, pilates class or social gathering that’s been on your mind. Watching adults join in makes me so joyful because I know the courage it takes and I love watching the overwhelming look of achievement at the end of class. Trust me, you can dance.
JOIN THE FACEBOOK FAMILY GROUP
We value and see the benefit of creating our VPC Community. Keep in touch in-between classes. Ask questions that other parents might be able to help you answer. Watch class videos. Get access to class music playlists. Be notified about class changes and lost property etc.
NEW CLASS ALERT - PREJUNIOR BALLET
There is a NEW ballet class set to start THIS week on Wednesday nights at 4:15pm for our PreJunior Age Group. Not sure what Ballet is? Check out our dance style descriptions here.
For any Pre-Junior or 5 Year old Preschooler that has a make-up class to use, you are encouraged to come to this class! You can now select your make-up class via the Jackrabbit Portal. If you believe you are entitled to a make-up class that isn’t listed on your portal, please contact me at admin@victoryperformancececntre.com.
Does your child wishes to attend this class in addition to their Pre-Junior Jazz class, I am offering a short time offer of a 10% discount for two weekly classes (usually 5%) until the end of 2021. Or if you wish to enrol your child in this class you can also do via your Jackrabbit Portal.
Please tell your friends and school mates about this new class as we need numbers to warrant the hall rental. The class, although traditional classical style, will be heaps of fun and full of imagination so don’t let your preconceptions stop you!
Preschool Make-Up Classes
For any of our preschoolers looking to participate in make-up classes, I have scheduled two additional classes in July. Please register via your Jackrabbit Portal.
Remember you can also come to any of the regular preschool classes during the week to “make-up” a class that has been missed in the last three months. You need to also use the parent portal to confirm this.
If we have enough attend, I will eventually put on a weekend class for this age group so tell your preschool friends so that they can give it a try whilst the classes are running.
