Welcome back to DANCE!

Thank you so much for everyone’s patience in preparation for dance and pilates classes getting back into the hall. I am ready to go!

Keep an eye on your letter box – there should be a little something for enrolled dances in our kids classes to get them just as excited as I am.

Hopefully they don’t last for long, however we ask that you please respect our COVID guidelines and efforts to keep you safe. Please check the COVID infographic for the basics in returning to classes. In addition:

  • Please wear masks to and from the hall, you or your child are more than welcome to continue wearing them whilst dancing.
  • I ask that you please wait in the car whilst your child is dancing if possible and only enter the building at the start and end of class.
  • For those joining Pilates – if you have your own mat, please bring this along. I will still provide a mat for those requiring one.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding our processes please don’t hesitate to email me

PreJunior Classes & above…

New exam dates will ease the pressure or maybe encourage those that though they were way too fast approaching. The registration closing date will be the 30th of September. All additional information was correct and you can find these details below.

End of Year Show | Rehearsals | Awards & Movie

Your input is required: Please complete before October 30th!

More information will be distributed once I have a gauge on how many will be participating – I am also looking at you ADULT DANCERS 😉

The end of year performance will include costumes and dance shoes, lighting and sound so I am looking for commitment with this event organisation shortly underway. It will be a WHOLE production and something awesome to look forward to. Tell me if you will be performing below:

Summer Dance Program GRANT APPLICATION

Submissions for this survey close on the 19th of September.

I need YOUR assistance to provide feedback about my business in the hope that it will help support my grant application.
So a little bit of background:

The grant is called “Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa”. It is intended to provide play, active recreation and sport opportunities for tamariki and rangatahi in the Bay of Plenty, especially those that are less active. Which is EXACTLY what I am trying to do for our local communities.

I will be doing this by providing 4 days of subsidised dance classes, to children 5-12years old, in the last week of JANUARY 2022. Hopefully, my application is successful and we can fund dance mirrors, barres, as well as props for dance classes.

SO how can you help? I need statements from our dancers, parents and community that demonstrate why dance classes are important for our children (aged 5-12years) and how there is a demand or need for these classes in our community (due to lack of opportunity, traffic, cost, standard etc.)

I would be hugely grateful and this will additionally benefit VPC services in 2o22!
Please share this survey as it is important that I get general community input also.

We value and see the benefit of creating our VPC Community. Keep in touch in-between classes. Ask questions that other parents might be able to help you answer. Watch class videos. Get access to class music playlists. Be notified about class changes and lost property etc.

Did you see that we had an offer on for the 7-9 year age group before lockdown – well it is running till the end of September!

Students in this age group that are only currently doing one class can join the second class for FREE until the offer finishes. Accounts of current students doing both classes that started from August will be credited in October.

Share this information with your friends and share the love of DANCE!
During primary years, it is so important to create a variety of friendships and have a place to go other than home and school that makes you feel included. That way there is always a back up if things go awry with the constant presence of social media or bullying. VPC dance studio is THAT place. Miss Tess and her students are welcoming, patient, inclusive and supportive. Allowing your child to find a safe space to grow confidence and a love for movement and dance.

Did you catch the online pre-recorded dance class for preschoolers?

Please share this with your Auckland friends or anyone that has been thinking about joining class and not quite ready to take the leap!

2022 Preschool Programmes

In 2022 I will be offering 6 weeks of discounted dance to 6 preschools, kindergartens and play centres! I intend to visit each premises for one 30minute session a week. Have you got a business in mind? Does your preschooler want to dance at their daycare?
Please email me at with your suggestions. Thanks!

I want to give you a thank you. I am looking for a couple of reviews to share on our Social Media (even better – the Google). So if you take a couple of minutes to leave a review, you will be entitled to $10 off your next invoice.

Any feedback you have about this VPC Print issue, leave it below!
I would love to hear what you want me to include next time.
