AN UPDATE FROM MISS TESS

Welcome to our March edition of the Victory Performance Centre Newsletter for 2024!

Hi, VPC friends and family

The year has kicked off just as I had hoped. We warmly welcome back our existing VPC families, along with several new families joining our vibrant dance community.

I had the most gorgeous summer and Christmas holidays, thanks to the stunning Tauranga weather and scenery. Quality time with my dog, Hendricks, and my fiancé, Dave, made it all the more memorable.

This term is all about settling back into our routines, reconnecting with familiar faces, and making new friends. Our dance family grows stronger with the addition of Sophie, our new dance teacher, while Alannah will continue to lend her expertise from time to time. As we adjust schedules, there may be some class changes to accommodate Sophie’s beauty therapy course and my wedding preparations. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

So far, we’ve already celebrated Valentine’s Week together, and it was truly special to have extra friends join our VPC family. Next up is the Easter Event.  Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 17th, from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Bring along your friends and family—we can’t wait to see the kids shine on stage during the choreography event. It’s great to hear the dedication and hard work going on at home with some of our dance families already!

While some classes are filling up, there is still some availability across Term One. We’re closely monitoring class sizes and may add additional sessions for our popular year levels and styles. Stay informed by checking our Facebook page and keeping an eye on your emails.

As Term One draws to a close at the beginning of April, I’ll be busy with last-minute wedding preparations. Yes, I’ll be married when I return! But the question remains: Will my name change from ‘Miss Tess’? I promise to update you on that next term!

I am always more than willing to chat regarding any concerns, feedback, or even just a friendly “Hello!” Please do not hesitate to contact me via email at admin@victoryperformancecentre.com at any time.

WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST DANCE TEACHER!

Hey! I’m Sophie, and I’m super excited to join VPC! I’m a hometown kid born and raised in Tauranga. Dancing has been a passion of mine for around 15 years, starting back when I was about 5 years old.

Besides that, I’m into Art and Beauty – anything that lets me express myself and be creative. In my spare time, you’ll catch me either soaking up the sun at the beach with friends or chilling at home with a movie and some snacks.

I can’t wait to start this amazing journey and meet you all!
